Meet the Creators

  John Chester

Whether it’s living for two months on the ice in the Arctic Circle with a family of Eskimos struggling for survival, chasing the stories of homeless addicts through the alleys of American cities, or laying in a tick infested jungle for 5 days with a special operations unit, John Chester’s mission is to craft stories that depict the essence of the human condition. His filmmaking technique captures the nuances of a story that allows an audience to open their hearts and minds to the subtle lessons contained within.

  Andre Miller

Andre is your 21st century retro-futuristic personal life guide. He began his formula for success as an undergrad at Wilkes College, where this ‘little guy’ from North Bayshore, NY who once struggled to make the high school wrestling team became one of the best collegiate wrestlers in the United States. By his senior year, he earned All-American honors at the NCAA Division 1 Championships.

Andre went on to earn a law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law. During this time, he studied under some of the best fitness trainers in the country. He became a Certified Conditioning Specialist (CCS), as well as a highly skilled martial artist. Andre’s experience, combined with his energetic, yet gentle, style has provided him with dozens of engagements as a motivational speaker. These venues range from inner city schools to corporate retreats and some of the top sports camps in America.

Andre Miller was the host and creator of Good Morning & Good Living for NBC affiliate, WBAL-TV, when he met John Chester some 11 years ago. Five years of hosting daily television segments and hundreds of personal appearances later, Andre was featured in a ten part series for the Discovery Home and Leisure Channel. The series was entitled R+R, and showcased holistic rest and relaxation techniques from around the world. While the Random 1 philosophy continued to be practiced without cameras, R&R represented the first television collaboration of John and Andre.
