We started doing something 3 years ago with some kids at a church. It was definitely a "Random" beginning that has become a wonderful cause for people to get involved. Two weeks before X-mas 2003, I was sitting at my desk one day, I heard that some children from a church who were normally sponsored by a group to receive toys, out of nowhere had no sponsor. Two weeks before x-mas....it broke my heart. The next day, a few of my friends who heard this news came over and brought toys for them.
We pulled off the "santa express" and it's been going ever since.
It's based on people who may want to get a toy or coat for the kids. Like an Angel Tree. Sometimes the key to helping others is right in front of us.....
