A&E made a huge mistake. Trading quality television for a few extra ratings point, shame on them.
It nice to see this website, and I look forward to episodes.
Are there any plans to release dvd's that arn't the A&E ones? Like a full season 1 box set?

[R1's RESPONSE] Hey Ian: Sorry . .the DVDs will only be made available through A&E. And thats a good thing, it's easier for us. We're not set up to do that kind of thing. But thanks for asking!
As for the "huge mistake"
While we agree that it was a mistake to take r1 off the air, we do acknowledge how difficult it is financially for a network to ignore the ratings system. The most amazing thing is A&E gave this concept a real shot and they put a lot behind it. The reality of it all really sucks. But the bottom line is it's the only way they can exist. If you want to see where the problem begins.... check out the Nielsen Ratings System... less than 8,000 families in the USA decide what we all watch. Talk about bad ideas...
