There seems to be a disconnect between the detox centers and other homeless services. Because the guy has nowhere to go after treatment, he risks falling back into the same destructive cycle. This episode's challenge seems to be bigger than rehabilitation alone, so there's no harm in helping this guy stave off withdrawals until he can enter a facility.
