There are no guarantees... when someone has the courage to care, and ask the questions they see need asking, souls can be lifted from the despair that shows through their eyes... the same despair that you both cue in on... the caveat of "there are no guarantees" applies in every case, but when there is true compassion, and sincere attempts to assist, encourage and redirect towards the healthy "possible," the only failures that can be are the failure of conditions and situations to be what we want them to be, or the failure of the person you're trying to help to see the vision, trust the vision, or act on the vision that your kindness paints for them... but no matter the external, or personal failure, the buckets of love and compassion your attempt pours on them during their times with you will be the fertilizer in which love may grow... maybe it starts when they stop kicking their own ass, then transition into a little seed of hope, then a sprout... then, maybe a happy little banzai of love in their life they tend and care for... it may never be a sequoia, but we don't all need sequoias to be happy... especially when we've had barren soil for so long... God Bless You! I relate with Andre. My friends would say that's me. As life has kicked my back side a bit, that sparkle has diminished a bit... seeing you two, and Andre's intuitve side and his joy, has rekindled that selflessness in me I used to know better... thank you for your gifts to all those you help, and to me... Sincerely, Random 2... the next wave of random helpers...
