Congratulations on your success Eric!!!!!!!!!!
This is an episode that truly touched me. I am a recovering alcoholic. When I was 24 my mom died, my grandpa died, I miscarried a baby, and my (now ex) husband decided he wanted to be a crack head; all in a matter of 3 months. I couldn’t cope so I turned to the bottle. For three years my life consisted of go to work, go get a 5th, and drink till I passed out. When my new man and I got together I stopped drinking. Now I drink very rarely, I don’t even like it anymore really. Now it seems that my destiny in life was to be an AA teacher or something because alcoholics seem to be drawn to me or me to them one. I have an abundance of them in my life or the problem of alcoholism is much greater then we think!
If I had the money to do it I would open a kind of like halfway house for alcoholics and such coming out of programs. I so believe that is one of the biggest reasons that recovers fall back they have no place to go and no support!!!
