First Name, City
I was just reading down through the posts and saw Kasaundra's post. Where she asked the fans to contribute there stories and I thought about last night. It was nothing big to me but, it meant the world to the man I helped. Thats what we have to realize 20 mins. to us can mean the world to who we help.

I was driving home last night around 11:30 pm from work. When I stopped at a red light and noticed a man in a wheel chair struggling to pull his way down the sidewalk. I just watched him and thought this was horrible this man out in the middle of the night no body to assist him. So i pulled over at the next station and walked down to him. He thought I was some sort of freak at first I guess (young white guy driving an old dodge truck, walks up to a black man in a wheel chair in bad neighborhood... guess he had his reasons). But anyways I asked him how far he was going and to my amazement he still had about 1.5 miles to go. I said your gonna ride with me sir, so I helped him in the truck loaded up his wheel chair and we were off. Turns out he works about 3 miles away from his home and takes the bus to work but by the time he gets off bus's have stopped for the night. So I told him that any time I got off the same time as him he always has a ride. He was the happiest id ever seen anyone.

So that goes to show you 20 mins out of your life everyday could make someones life.

[R1's RESPONSE] What a fabulous story! It gave me chills reading it. You are absolutely right, just taking a few minutes out of our lives to help another person could mean the world to whoever it is we're helping! Thanks for sharing!
